Organizations

          Memorial provides a variety of programs to meet the needs of all ages.  These include Sunday School, Junior Bell Ringers, Adult Bell Ringers, Adult and Junior Steel Orchestras, God’s Little Angels Chorale, Ensemble (brass band), Memorial Moravian Youth Organization (MMYO), Gospel Choir, Senior Choir, Youth Choir, Men’s Chorale, Moravian Movers, Ambassadors, Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Fellowship, and King’s Daughters and Sons Circle. 

          These groups provide activities that are educational, philanthropic, and spiritual in nature.  They share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others through regular services, Bible study, prayer meetings, Christian education, family life ministry, evangelistic services, and radio ministry through WSTA and WGOD.

Concerns for the maintenance of the furnishings of the sanctuary and about taste and elegance in the decorations for various seasons

Senior Choir

1920’s thru the 1930’s

Br. Amos Hughes saw the need for a choir to lead the worship service.  He was the organist and conductor, together with Mr. Cyril Creque, an organist and conductor for the Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Women’s Fellowship

1960

Formed to encourage women of the congregation to get together to study the Bible, pray together, worship and witness together, and through their experiences to go out in the community to serve others and share the good news of salvation.

We seek to be faithful to our Lord, Jesus Christ, and use all that we possess to call all people to the truth of the Gospel through worship, evangelism, and service.

Youth Steel Orchestra

To give our young people another opportunity to be more actively involved in church life through music and to render spiritual enhancement to our worship service through the steel pan.
